How does Triple F Logistics BV inform me?
We inform you by including information in the forms on which you fill in your details. If you submit your details via the website, we inform you via our Privacy Statement and disclaimer.
In a number of situations we do not have to inform you (again) about the use of your data:
- You are already aware We do not have to inform you if you are already aware of the information. Triple F Logistics BV may assume that you are aware if you have sent or handed over information to us yourself. In this case, we do not have to inform you again or check.
- Personal data via another organization | Disproportionate effort Do we receive your data via another organization? Then we do not have to inform you about this in all cases. For example, you may have your data online. However, Triple F Logistics BV records the origin of your data and we will inform you if we (intend to) process your data. It may also be that the other organization has already informed you about passing on your data. In that case, you already know that Triple F Logistics BV can use your data.
- Other overriding interest Triple F Logistics BV does not have to inform you if there is an overriding interest. For example, if ‘not informing’ is necessary to prevent, detect or prosecute criminal offences or to protect the rights and freedoms of others.
Right of access
The right of access only concerns access to your own data. Triple F Logistics BV can provide you access to your personal data in the following 3 ways:
- A complete overview
- On-site access
- Copies/prints
Complete overview
If you receive a complete overview, you do not yet have a right to a copy or print of the original document or file in which your data appears.
The complete overview states:
- The purpose for which Triple F Logistics BV uses your data;
- Which types of data Triple F Logistics BV uses for this purpose;
- Which organizations or types of organizations receive your data;
- How Triple F Logistics BV obtained your data.
On-site access
Triple F Logistics BV may ask you to come and view your file on-site. This may be the case, for example, when your file is very large or if it would take Triple F Logistics BV too much time and effort to prepare an overview or to print or copy your file.
Copies or prints
Triple F Logistics BV is free to provide copies or prints of the documents concerning you instead of an overview. You cannot demand this from Triple F Logistics BV. For providing copies, we may request the legally determined fee of € 0.23 per page with a maximum of € 22.50.
May Triple F Logistics BV refuse my access request?
Yes, sometimes this is allowed, but only exceptionally. We may refuse access to your data wholly or partly if your access request would make the administrative burden too high. We will not simply reject your request. We will explain why we refuse your access request, taking into account the interests of all parties involved.
The right to rectification and supplementation only concerns your own data.
What is a rectification & supplementation request?
You have the right to have incorrect personal data corrected and/or to have personal data supplemented. In the GDPR (Article 16) this right is described as the “right to rectification”.
Application of rectification & supplementation
Triple F Logistics BV is responsible for correct processing of your personal data. We ensure your data is up to date by:
- Internally Updating your personal data when necessary and/or at your request.
- Informing third parties Passing on your adjusted or supplemented data to organizations to whom we have provided your data in the context of our services. May Triple F Logistics BV refuse my rectification & supplementation request? We will not process supplements in the area of special category personal data and other data that is not relevant to our services. Therefore, it may occur that we will not process all data you provide.
Right to data portability
The right to data portability concerns the “right to have data transferred”. It means that you have the right to receive your digital personal data that Triple F Logistics BV has from you. You can also ask us to transfer your data directly to another organization.
Data safeguard | Data transfer format
To safeguard the meaning of the transferred data, Triple F Logistics BV will make available all personal data that you have provided to us digitally via online web forms. Where available, Triple F Logistics BV will include relevant metadata, such as time, sender, addressee, etc.
Triple F Logistics BV does not collect personal data through online “tracking” services. Your (digital) personal data will be transferred to you in a structured, commonly used, and readable format. For employees of Triple F Logistics BV, access to a certain department may require the use of a fingerprint scan. This data is stored, secured, and logged by third parties; a data processing agreement applies. This data is also deleted as soon as an employee is no longer employed by Triple F Logistics BV.
What falls under data portability?
- All digital personal data; paper files do not fall under this.
- Personal data that an organization processes with the data subject’s consent
- Personal data that an organization processes due to an agreement.
May Triple F Logistics BV refuse my request?

If you disagree, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) or seek legal assistance.
Automated decision-making
Some organizations make decisions based on automatically processed data. This happens, for example, with profiling. The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) provides the right to human intervention in decisions relating to individuals. Examples include automatic rejection of your application or processing applications via the internet without human involvement.
Working method of Triple F Logistics BV
As a rule, Triple F Logistics BV does not make decisions based on automatically processed data. Your data is therefore personally assessed by a human.
- We assess based on information and/or personal data provided by you.
- We assess personal data that we have received from third parties by contacting you.
When can you invoke the article on automated decision-making & profiling?
- If Triple F Logistics BV nevertheless makes a decision based on automatically processed data.
- If, as a result of this decision, adverse consequences follow for you.
Right to restriction of processing
What is a restriction of processing request?
In certain situations, you have the right to restrict the use of your data.
When do you have the right to restriction of processing?
The right to restriction of processing applies in situations that meet one of the following criteria:
- Data may be incorrect If you indicate to us that we are using incorrect personal data. Triple F Logistics BV will check which data is incorrect and rectify it at your request. From the moment you indicate that personal data is not (or no longer) correct, we will no longer use it or forward it to third parties.
- The processing is unlawful Triple F Logistics BV is not allowed to process certain data, but you do not want us to erase that data. For example because you may want to request the data later. For instance, you may have provided (special category) personal data. As a rule, Triple F Logistics BV does not process special category personal data and also does not pass it on to third parties.
- Data is no longer needed Triple F Logistics BV no longer needs your personal data for the purpose for which we collected it. But you still need the personal data for, for example, a legal claim or legal proceedings.
- Data subject objects Do you object to the processing of your personal data? Then Triple F Logistics BV must stop processing this data. Unless we invoke compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests, rights, and freedoms. As long as it is not clear whether our grounds override yours, we will not process your data.
- Informing third parties If Triple F Logistics BV has provided your personal data to other parties; we will inform these organizations that you have restricted the use of your personal data and that these third parties must strictly adhere to this restriction.
- Which parties have your personal data? If you want to know to which third parties we have communicated the restriction of your personal data, Triple F Logistics BV will provide you with an overview.
