Thursday afternoon the Evelyn Maersk entered as the hundredths ultra large container carrier (ulcc) of 2010 the port of Rotterdam. The first ulcc, container ships whit more than 10,000 teu entered the port of Rotterdam three years ago. Now such vessels enters Rotterdam daily.

Maersk has adjusted the profit expectation for this year because sister company Maersk Line performs better than expected. The Danish concern expect s a little profit in March after a first time loss in 2009.
